    How it Works

  • Do I have to pay to use Resolve?

There is no fee to use Resolve. Simply create your profile and select your contractor, and we’ll help you seamlessly restore your house back to the home you love.

  • How do I get started?

It’s easy. First, you’ll need to determine if you have an emergency that requires immediate help (like an active water leak or collapsed roof) or if you need a repair for damage that has been stabilized. From there, we'll connect you with certified contractors in your area, and you'll select one to perform the work. If you have any questions throughout the process, a dedicated Resolve project manager will be there to guide you from start to finish.

  • What happens if I change my mind after getting started?

Flexibility is built into our process. You are not obligated to anything until you and the contractor of your choice have a signed an agreement authorizing the work to begin. Once work has begun, we have a flexible change order process that will allow you to customize your project with any additional services or products as you see fit.

  • How many bids can I get?

We understand that, for large projects, you may want to get multiple bids and Resolve is here to make that process as simple as possible for you. In other cases, you may just want to quickly select the one contractor from our elite network of contractors that you immediately know will be a good fit for your project. Either way, you’ll have the ability to request up to 3 bids.

  • How does the payment process work?

As you begin your project, your dedicated project manager will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding the payment process.

  • How quickly can the work get started?

Resolve is committed to responding to your project in a timely manner and we hold ourselves accountable accordingly. We will respond to your emergency request within 20 minutes and your home repair request within 48 hours. The start date for your project will be agreed upon between you and your chosen contractor. Once your contractor has been selected and the work has been agreed upon, the project dashboard in your online profile will keep you up to date with detailed milestones charted along the project timeline.
